I enjoyed the movie. I will mention the pros and cons of the movie starting with the cons. The ending of the movie threw me for a loop. I was not expecting that. I think that instead of it turning out the way it did it could have been done differently. I won't mention the ending to avoid spoilers all I can say is watch it for yourself you may or may not like it. Okay my next gripe is the prologue. I would have actually have liked to see that leading up to the point where Luca and his father start there adventure. That in my opinion could have been broken into three movies or even a mini series showing his adventures as a kid along with bianca, Nera, Sancho, and Pankraz leading up to this movie. I know the game on DS covers that but man seeing just a series or a movie based on this game is fulfilling in my opinion. Okay now that I have the cons out of the way I will jump into the pros. First off the movie is very engaging I was never bored from beginning to end. It was hilarious at times and had me busting a gut. The CG is beautiful. The design team and artists put a lot of time into this movie and it shows. The visuals are breathtaking. I like that they stayed true to the series except the end. I'm sorry people I really didn't like what they did it was like a punch to the gut. The characters were very lively especially bianca and Luca. Nera surprised me as well. I like when she deceived Luca for personal reasons that she noticed when even he himself didn't at first. I also like Purrcy the saber tiger and forgive me if I spell his name wrong the slime gootrude. I would have given more stars of they would have left the one part out towards the end but all in all I loved the movie regardless.
