I’ll always love #magicrealism, and my goodness! This film answers so many questions sitting within me in my own middle-agedness and in illness and surely wouldn’t have hit the same as a twenty something. I hope those who’ve lost loved ones, are losing loved ones, are watching their loved ones lose them find this film, can carve a breath out of time swollen with pain and focus on any moment of understanding. The breath, weight, lightness, chaos and calm is valuable magic that aches to be realized in our noisy, filthy humanity.
