I read an article bashing this movie. They complain that it is an emotionless action movie, and that it is taking away revenue from the movie theaters. I don't see how it's doing that. We've seen all the major movies in the theaters and we enjoyed most of them. We also enjoyed Heart of Stone. It was a fun movie for the family. Sometimes we need these emotionless action movies. It doesn't always have to be so serious like Guardians of the Galaxy 3. You know you can have streaming movies and movie theater movies at the same time.

I'm one of those weirdos that loves movies for all kinds of reasons, not just historical accuracy or character development or acting even. My family and I loved this movie. It was simple enough for my 9-year-old to enjoy, and it was just interesting enough for my wife and I to enjoy. My teenage son also liked it. And isn't that what it's about? Movies are supposed to be fun, and this one definitely was. Don't listen to the critics. I wish I saw it in the theaters on the big screen, but unfortunately I listened to the critics and did not go see it. Come on people are complaining about the way Matt Damon delivers his lines? This is a movie with aliens or something. Who cares about the lines.

It tries so hard to be a rom com but fails. They're all the cliches in there, where they have to see each other naked, accidentally touch each other etc. I expected to be a bit more entertaining but the movie is just about a couple of people who have absolutely no chemistry who get lost in the woods. Sandra Bullock has just one emotion all throughout the movie. It is just not a funny or an entertaining movie. Glad it was free on Paramount Plus.
