While the story line is presented from a spartan, desperate perspective of four people who seem doomed at times, the ending ties it together. The beacon is symbolic. I thought Kate Bosworth gave a solid performance.

Excellent movie with exceptional acting, creative use of background sounds to signify heavy emotions, along with strong directing. The juxtapositions of Oppenheimer and fellow scientists' theoretical approach to solving real world problems and the resulting empirical success, with all the sorrow that weapons of mass destruction can unleash, are explored. Oppenheimer's flaws are exposed. Highly recommend to those who are interested in the subject. The crowd I attended with stayed to watch the end credits. I am not a bot, as some have suggested for those who loved this movie and show 5 stars.

Highly recommend Sound of Freedom. The movie provides a brilliant view of human slavery, in the form of sex trafficking, by focusing on the experience of one Homeland Security Agent and two of the children exploited. The actors portraying the real characters were exceptional. The pace of the movie was well considered, given the length of time of the real events. The audience is educated on the subject. What this movie doesn't do: *pretend to be an action flick *pretend to be a comedy *preach *choose a political side Never cared for Glenn Beck as a media personality, but appreciate his generosity to help the children.

Intense action scenes with a good story line that includes much of the philosophical reasons of a warrior's path. The story explains and depicts how passion can help build talent to a level well beyond just raw talent. Beautiful scenery along a coastline. And...the condor ate well.

Great martial arts fights. Incredible scenery of Malta and the winding one way roads. The architecture is inspiring. The script left me wincing at times.

Russell Crowe directed a good movie and he, along with the rest of the cast, acted out their roles with realistic performances. Cowe is an exceptional actor. The end of life saga for a man who lost his much loved wife in an accident, successfully raised his daughter through her teen years and started a gambling empire that made him very rich. Along with his best friend from childhood, they also used the basic online gambling platform to create a beneficial program for defense purposes that netted them even more. The rest of their childhood friends were included in their initial business, but they led separate lives. The pounding of water onto a shoreline, which represents the consistent passing of time and forces that define our lives, is represented in selected art. The infusion of Newton's Laws also represents how the movie ties art and science together to help us understand the powerful emotions of a man who knows he will die soon. Some of the negative reviews don't describe the movie I watched. Listen to the dialogue closely, recognize the use of art as a story telling tool and enjoy a good movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this movie was to watch, given some of the poor ratings by a few viewers. The plot was interesting, timely and fast paced. Mel Gibson, well done.

Not surprised to find out that the movie was first written as a play, then adapted for screen. That helped boost my rating to a full 5 stars. Charlie's complex and contradictory character and how his life choices have affected those around him are at the core of the movie. Well acted.
