A lackluster smash clone. The asking price is too high for the very little content you get in the game, fighters have a very small move pool, very little control customization, taunt is tied to a traditional grab button and putting it anywhere else is going to do more harm than good since you cant map controls to the dpad, right cstick or left cstick. Combat is smooth. If a bit slow for some atracks done by certain charaters, but overall the combat isnt bad minus the small move pool and control issues mentioned above. Overall the asking price is too high for my liking even with the 20% discount on the switch for its launch day. If it were closer to $25 i would definetly give it a higher star count. It has/had a great deal of potential. But it feel short of expectations.
