The plot is definitely not water tight however the story is intriguing and the atmosphere gripping. With no top rating actors or actresses, somehow this movie managed to leave a very vivid impression on our memory and is certainly one of the movies that we are not reluctant to go back to.

Wow, binge watched the season 1 until early morning, that says it all.

Wow. Breathless. Finally a show that did not disappoint from the beginning right to the end.

A plot full of holes. An ending that does not match up to all the deliberate suspenses leading towards it.

Wan must have been trying to create a new approch of horror movie. Although the story is kind of interesting, the over powering colour and music coupled with almost B grade acting and flawed details in the plot resulted in a grotesque movie experience. The killing scenes definitely have a 'Kill Bill' flavour. Taking an 'authentic horror feeling ' perspective, like that which seeped throughout his Conjurings, we are quite disappointed with this Wan experiment.

The pink creature is very cute. No further comment on the 80 minutes of my Saturday spent watching this movie.

Music and film techniques are quite good. However the story is so disjointed too simple to be true and the depiction of characters is loose. Very disappointing.
