Spielberg does a good job in updating this story for today’s racist and violence levels. My only complaint is “Somewhere” is a love song for 2 people at the wrong moment in time. Spielberg uses the some as a a statement for tolerance and racism. A good use of the song but it is a love song. Perhaps if Tony and Maria sang it together, and then Rita Moreno sings it for her scene with a different context. I definitely would not have gone into the theaters for this movie fearing crowd rudeness and violence.

This broadcast is at its best when Shepard Smith is away. His snarky comments are not fair or balanced. His vocal inflections make his opinion quite clear. His replacements like Kelly Evans is great. Kelly is fair and balanced and a reminder of how the news once was.

After all of these Elvis movies including Kurt Russell’s version, Baz’s version is the best in getting a well known story told in a complementary and respectful manner. It is the only version that has found an actor and director that could recreate Elvis’ magnetism.

Trevor Noah is not funny. His commercials are not funny. Comedy Central cancelled David Spade’s funny show with non stop jokes and kept this sad negative show. I call upon CBS to cancel this POS and bring back Spade. This show is not worth watching since I can’t get pass hours commercials. Just do comedy and stop with The politics. It’s boring!
