People are saying this movie is great, and I wonder if we saw the same film?? Cuz this visually stunning TRASH. I have been annoyed lately with all the "girl power"stuff they've crammed into every single film these days, but having whining, cowering, powerless, useless female characters is WAAAY worse!! They had TWO female characters and NEITHER of them contributed anything meaningful!! Dialogue was cringeworthy, makes me think I should have opted for original Japanese with subtitles. Is THAT the "great" version everyone is raving about? Cuz it DAMN sure wasn't THIS one.
