Big Star Trek fan. That is ONE very big star that goes to the Picard idea. An idea of having something new in a timeline we trek fans asked for since voyager ended. Thank you CBS. Otherwise this is sloppy and the writing is basic. It is taking 10 episodes to cover a situation and topic that would have been covered in one episode of the originals. Maybe a two part episode. That was what was BIG about Star Trek. 45 min could make you think or learn something new. This new show Picard is slow, boring and predictable. Also theres no science in it at all and it makes it weird. No worm holes, quantum shifts, time loops. No theoretical physics. Nada. Picard loses four stars for its boring senseless dialog. I feel so bad for Patrick Stewart and his character Picard. Thankfully as he’s stated he was paid A LOT to do it. To make trash and make a quick buck.

The pilot was what fans have been asking for on almost every count. The acting and talent was excellent. It didn’t feel like a Star Trek/white man hating rip off. Very surprising and odd for CBS/Paramount and when being compared to ST Discover. They lost a star because they didn’t fully listen to fans. Such as, we have asked again and again to move forward and stop reinventing. There is NO reason why this couldn’t be about the Enterprise-F-G-H. Instead they chose to reinvent. Additionally they cannot stop using Spock and reinventing him. Leave the character with Leonard Nemoy and move on please. There is NO reason why they cannot create a new Vulcan character as cool as Spock. Unrelated but it reminds me of how they love NOT giving fans what they ask for and decide do the opposite. For example fans have been asking for a remastered Voyager and DS9. Instead of doing that they are creating and hoping to sell un-mastered or de-mastered versions of Voyager and DS9. Pretty much saying… you want remastered? We will give you the opposite. On and on it goes… lost one star on this show due to history of failure and not listening.

Although she seems like a very sweet and nice girl erin kellyman ruins this show. Just like she ruined solo with the completely purchased roles for herself. I hate thinking it’s because her parents are big wigs in one of the world largest trading/shipping companies. Her in these roles is so unbelievable. She looks and sounds like she 12 years old. Not a rebel leader or someone who lived long enough to have a logical opinion. She deserves to be casted, but not in the roles she keeps landing. Not only does it not make sense. It’s unbelievable and has ruined it for me.
