The story had me about 3/4 of the way through. My guesses were wrong but I guess because the answer(s) was so far-fetched in my mind and seemed to not fit the way it was playing out. Or maybe my comprehension looking back at it, I missed clues. Overall, when the twist came I was left feeling annoyed and only finished because I was almost done with the book. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. Wish the twist was different.
