I love this movie. I remember when I first saw it I bawled my eyes out. For me, there was so much symbolism as it pertained to my life at that time. I didn't even need a counselor after seeing 🦁 King. I would suggest if you are planning seeing the new one, see the cartoon first. It will make it that more meaningful. All of the cast members from the original Lion King are not in this one. So you would be doing yourself a huge diserverce if you just went to the one that is coming out this summer. In the words of the hyenas "Long live the King!"

Todrick Hall will always get a five star rating from me. Hes definitely an underrated talent. I love his take on his sound.
