Watching it as a teenager back in 85 I can only tell you the reaction in the cinema was one of pure delight when Rocky came back in mid round with an uppercut to shake the man mountain that was Ivan Drago. It was a film to reflect the time, so of course it has not aged well, as some critics are quick to point out. However, with great supporting cast, music that I still have on my Gym playlist and some gritty fight scenes, this is one for the must watch 80's movies playlist. You won't be sorry.

One of those swimming pool floaters...................don't concieve to waste a minute more than the delete button. All the worst rom coms, chick flicks and American pie rolled into a large sewage factory that churns out effluent from the first minute to the last. Not a single endearing feature. Avoid at all costs.

Unmissable. Definitely one of the top 10 films of the 80's.

Enjoyable movie, but I think Stallone's girfriend was miscast. Lithgow was superb.

When predator movies still were watchable. I'd say the last decent one to be released. Glover was well cast, the rest were not. Bill paxton was just irritating and his performance was identical to Aliens. However, def. worth a watch, an 80's solid, as they say. Music remains exceptional.

80's Nostalgia. When Stallone was at the top of his game. Worth a watch any day of the week. Sly began really to grow nicely into the role by II

Squids as seafood will never be the same again. 'Ganbo' will be the next 'it' word to describe best friends, homies and closer than close relationships. Season 2 will be a back story on the Front Man and his game, plus the detective and his relationship. There will be furniture, jewellery, Artwork etc. All in the Squid design line. Cake boxes will no longer have ribbons. A fine production, 100% contribution from all. See it now.

A good series with potential for greatness, let down by a one dimensional lead actor who has about as much emotional input to the role as a bottle of washing up liquid. The Russian actors were all excellent as support. I thought the sister and the love interest girlfriend were also miscast. The side story of Ludmila was underwhelming after the dramatic build up. Left it way to long for the 2nd Season.

An exceptional show, thought provoking, emotional, bleak and traumatic. The acting is magnificent. The lead has more facial expressions than Jim Carrey on speed and she uses them all in a 30 second acting arc. Watch and then watch again. You won't be disappointed, just a little bit depressed if your a man.

A poor shadow of Rocky IV in emotion, excitement, build up, tension, acting and anything else you can think of. Great to see Brigitte Nielsen again and sly is beginning to look a little plastic. To be honest, I fast forwarded through sections. The fights were over choreographed and pseudo-matrix almost in style. Stick with the Rocky 1 to 4 sequence only if you really want to remember what was great about this franchise. The rest is just an echo.
