The film pours its influences of Hitchcock, Lynch, and the Coen brothers into a blender and somehow manages to make all of them work, yet still feel entirely original. Its, zany, odd idiosyncratic plot give a new and refreshing take on the classic LA noir detective story. As well as leaving clues and puzzles for the audience to solve along the way.
