Kristen Stewart was terrific in this unusual portrayal of Princess Diana as a woman on the verge of madness. The musical score adds to the tension and feeling of unease.

No stars. Zero. This sadistic movie tries to be a commentary on marriage and societal acceptance, but the sadism and imagery is at times so disturbing that the movie becomes a pointless exercise that makes the viewer wonder if it will ever end. Misogynistic and grotesque, it is apparent early on that the writers could only be male. How this film received nominations for awards is beyond me.
Note to animal lovers: stay away. Animals suffer and die throughout.
