The only thing this movie had in common with the famous beloved ballet was the music and character names. I was extremely disappointed by this especially since Claira doesn’t even receive the Nutcracker and he’s actually not even in it. The only part I enjoyed was the short ballet that was shown for a clip. Going into this movie I knew it was going to be different, but I never thought I would be so different that they would take at a main character (If you can’t tell I love the Nutcracker), and Claira just seemed eh I wasn’t impressed. And why is her mother dead and WHY WOULD THEY TAKE OUT THE NUTCRACKER!!!
