This movie touches the soul. Even if you are not a Sci-Fi fan, this movie absolutely tugs on the heartstrings ultimately showing that sacrifice and the human Bond knows no limits. The relationship between a human and a robot are this focal point along with the dog, Goodyear. In a world that has seeing a post-apocalyptic radiation storm that appears to have killed most of the population, this movie hones in on the simplest things in life. From the scenes where at the end, fetch throwing the ball to Goodyear and the robot Jeff getting involved is what it's all about. Tom Hanks is hands down am amazing actor who yet again should win an award for his portrayal of this robotics engineer. Absolute masterpiece in my opinion.
