In a world where Fury Road didn't exist this would be a better movie, but it falls short of it's predecessor in almost every way.
The actors gave a solid performance but I didn't need an old man spouting profundities or honestly, this much talking.
The last movie wasn't afraid to infer and suggest whereas Furiosa demands that you understand every single facet with lengthy dialogue and sadly one one or two really solid action scenes.
It doesn't really introduce anything new, simply retreading what was established before In a more drawn out way that adds nothing.
It's fine, but following a nearly perfect version of a mad max film, it's disappointing.
A film should be able to stand on its own without being compared to anything else but this film is so intrinsically tied to what came before that you really can't not compare it.
