Almost the entire movie was pointless. I like dark books and movies but this was very unnecessary. It tells a story about a pathetic guy who drowns his problems in liquor and drugs. It was a complete waste of time and could have been made at least 1 and a half hours shorter. The point of the movie was for the painting, but that only seemed to be for character development and not the actual movie. 0/10, would never recommend.
