Just a few notes on SNL: First of all, Heidi Gardner is a fabulous actress and I am stunned she has not moved on with her own sitcom. Heidi - you can really act!!!! But on the other hand, I don't know why Pete Davidson is still on the show, as he continues after three seasons to read his lines - he never has them memorized, as far as I can tell - and he just cannot act. As a more general note: I would like to see more intelligence on this show, not that it has really ever been known as intelligent.......but how refreshing it would be for the writers to move away from immature body function jokes to some witty, funny jokes that are relevant to our world today, and that make people think a minute. The Weekend Update reports can sometimes do that....so I know it is possible. But honestly - sometimes it is just ridiculously stupid and I wonder how old (or young) the writers are. But back to Heidi Gardner - trust your talent, girl, and get your own sitcom! You're frickin' hilarious!
