Mickell Goreham

This book made absolutely no sense to me at all. I usually love Koontz but I feel like he wasn't even trying to write a good story...in fact it wasn't much of a story at all. So many questions went unanswered and no plot to be read. Nothing ever came of Sam's mother and creepy boyfriend and he didn't get murdered by Violet. There was no explanation for the dead nurse or what any of it meant. It was just a lot of detailed descriptions and pretty words to string you along to an absolute mess of a "story." I just don't get it. I wish I did. Maybe I'm too dense for this type of writing but an striving to understand the subtext. Ha
