Wow! Horrible movie! Almost turned it off, but I kept watching. I think the secret is Ryder is the son of his uncle. That’s why the little girl said that his dad wasn't his real dad because she probably over heard people talking about who his real dad is. I believe that’s the reason his mom left to go to California. It’s kind of weird… (The relationship between Molly and her dad). I do believe that something strange is going on in that house. And I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the dad told him that he can be a father figure to Molly???? Like, why would he say that? The whole movie is weird if you ask me!! But this is just my opinion please watch the movie for yourself and create your own experience! Sincerely, A dissatisfied watcher! Edit: Y’all know what I just thought of something. What if the reason Ryder mom didn’t want to say that he was gay because her and her brother Wife used to mess around when they was little. Think about it, when they was at the table eating them tacos he kept pressuring rider about girls. Did you guys notice the look on his wife face? And Ryder mom was so stuck on not telling the family his secret maybe because she was gay herself or like the lady. because y’all remember when she told her to get the kids and take them home when Keith got mad at Ryder and Keith was like you don’t tell her what to do!! when the sister wanted to check Molly after the Blood on her dress, he did not want her to go in there to look at his daughter?!?!?! I think the mom and wife was best friend and Keith probably saw them playing the chicken game and he didn’t like it. That’s when he did something to his sister to teach her a lesson. Ion know though… this movie can be interpreted a lot of ways!
