My husband and I totally enjoyed this movie. We doubted we'd be able to be attentive for a two-hour-forty-minutes movie, but our interest didn't flag even once. The setting and times touched a chord for me, perhaps because I lived in LA for many years and the period of this movie is "my time." DiCaprio's range was impressive. My husband and I have "discussions" about whether Pitt matched DiCaprio's breadth, or just came close.
