I watched the series on Netflix just few days ago. I was bored and thought it would be nice to watch something while folding clothes. And I find it very interesting.
I haven't read the book, I even thought is was inspired by the 3/11 Japan tsunami, until i made a little research and learned it was based on a 70's disaster novel. I think it's good, really. people needs to lax with their unecessary judgements. I agree with the animation being mid-quality but it's not at all terrible, I can still see the details, it's not stick figures you guys. I think we need to focus on the story more rather than judging it because you didn't like how it was drawn.
We even have alot of moral lessons to learn from the series alone. I know my review isn't very helpful and I'm not here to discuss all 10 episodes, that would be too much. So just enjoy. <3
