It wasn’t as much a murder mystery than a karma melodrama for me, also the title and tagline are misleading. Not to give too much away but there is a flash forward/flash back that went on way too long and served no purpose. Whenever someone feels stress, angry or any other feeling they drink like crazy. All the men are cavemen who want to get drunk and talk about high school and the women are thoughtful, introspective and highly intelligent except when it’s an older man’s younger wife then she’s a air headed bimbo. And the chapters are all the point of view of one of the 5 main characters which again gets tiresome. There’s also several subplots that are supposed to leave you wondering what happened at the stag party, what happened to Olivia to make her so depressed, what happened at boarding school thats been kept a secret so long but by the end it’s just feels like an over the top melodrama. So overall not my cup of tea and definitely not a murder mystery sorry to say I can’t recommend it.
