An insult to its predecessor and downright embarrassing, "How I Met Your Father" fails to come close to capturing the magic of the original series and instead fills the void with shallow, uninteresting characters and cheap laughs. Simply put, HIMYF is worse than mediocre: it's downright cringeworthy.
