"Bodies Bodies Bodies" is a film that falls short in its attempt to satirize the latest generation. The movie is filled with tired stereotypes of young people being preoccupied with their phones and moral purity, while also being lazy and entitled, it seems like a rehashing of old New York Times think pieces bashing millennials.
The film tries to make a point about the generation's love for the hit social deduction game "Among Us," but it fails to do so in an engaging or original way. Instead, the plot is nothing more than a poor retelling of the game, lacking any real substance or depth.
It's a disappointment coming from A24 Productions, known for producing quality films. The movie is overhyped, terrible, and has a bad plot, which makes it forgettable. Save yourself the trouble and skip this movie, there are plenty of other films from 2022 that are worth your time.
