Halloween 2018 is the unfortunate victim of being two(2) different movies wrapped up in one(1)-the first half is excellent with good pacing and an intriguing storyline. However, the second half is reduced to a generic bore fest with a second-rate Silence Of The Lambs standoff between the protagonist(Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers that is unsatisfying and anticlimactic.
