Such a rich and meaningful depiction on love lost love life decisions ups and downs and what we need to live with basednon the decisions made.... beautiful 😍 movie... 9 out of 10 for me ....

at first, i was thinking whaaat..... a black western, to rival the likes of clint eastwood? it did seem that was in the early part, but took a turn for good, loved mr samuel's choice of music and songs and with that twist right at the end made the the movie all that entertaining to watch.... i rate this good, darn good... do watch

action packed yes.... but lacks a good storyline. jack is too much of a one man show....

one of those movies, where its for the thinker...... after watching you must read the reviews to decipher the motives etc.... otherwise you will be left dissapointed

the real happy go lucly life in the 70s minus all the gadjets and plus all teh beer and partying..... just as the 70s was recreated n 1993 its difficult to recreate the 00s in 2021.... nothing would be interesting

good movie with an anti climax ending, offered few twists in the story line, and ended with the twists still there.... perhaps the novel was much more, but superb acting from antony and emma

eastwood is a great if not one of teh geratest actors... but his time is up, last good movie was gran torino, and there on downwards from the mule.... further downwards with cry macho, dont get me wrong was was ok but surely not up to clint's usual standards... saddens me to think the new generation may only remember him to his most recent movies :-(

nice movie, amazing to hear and see the northern europeans in yesteryears, the real savages...... haha, well in the unknown period before the lord.... everyone were savages i guess. Did not like the part where esca literally betrayed "his people" in the end, killing the very people that gave him shelter.... in the name of an eagle!! Did he forget how his family died? This part of the story cud have been made more palatable. Beautiful gothic sceneries tho.

nice story line, but clouded by bad character selections, plots, with the only exception being liev scriber.... good acting on is part. But its not a total loss.... as I believe the situation will most probably be what we encounter if we ever set foot on mars or any planet for that matter. Single cell beings are bound to be found, and imagine the "fight power" they will have compared to us human beings.... who can even succumb to common cold. ok i better stop.... im begining to blabber hahaha

Excellent movie, and i must admit I have a soft spot for medieval movies, and this took place at AD117 even before that, with excellent cast and acting, and when you have a character called Olga who acts and does not speak (there was no need actually) and evil, make it even the more sweater. Superb writing and direction from neil.... dont know how I missed this 2010 movie.
