I know Star Wars more than i do 95% of my own family, i have loved it since i could compute and store memory itself. I am not one of the Star Wars lovers who gate-keep the franchise in anyway i give everything it offers a chance albeit recently i have regretted so, however… This game is rank rotten, absolutely disastrous in more ways than i can think to describe! The fact it has been released in 2024 under the name of Star Wars brings me overwhelming negative emotion. For review purposes, i have played this game on a relatively new PC. I dont even know where to begin. The Frame-rate sucks and i mean sucks as in a hoover/vacuum picking up carpet sucks. The stealth leaves something to be heavily desired to the point i contemplated roleplaying as Sam Fisher on my Partner! The story is what you expect current Ubisoft stories to be like, bearable yet awfully predictive. The combat feels like if Galaga was released on the IPad and the ship combat is exactly what i imagine Skull and Bones’ is like but in space. The only and i really mean only saving grace to this game is that once you squint far enough past the frame rate issues is that the planets are stunning and the homages to the ones we know and love are a welcome sigh of relief to what i can only describe as a complete and utter waste of time, money and sanity. Respawn we need you now more than ever. We truly have felt the power of the dark side here ladies and gentlemen.
