Again, I have to disagree with Michael Moore in the way that he covered this story because while he's trying to make America look bad. Compared to say, Canada, which has many less murders using guns or in general, 4000 he does not consider, for example, how few people. Live in Canada, considering the amount of land that they have or how few people live in Norway considering how much land they have. He also fails to consider that there are many other countries where there are many, many more murders. Per 1000 residents who maybe are killed in other ways not using weapons, but maybe using other instruments. Such as a machete which is often used in other countries like honduras. In fact, there are scores of countries that have many more murders per 1000 in the United States is the country where people have the highest standard of material wealth. Whether it's owned outright or financed, they have it and others want to take it. And so you have a lot of burglaries. A lot of fights over money and things of that nature. It is also situated in a way. That many more people want to come to this country. And thus we are much more diverse
Can we do better certainly. Must we do better? Of course, we should. But I don't think that Michael Moore should exploit the issue like he does in this movie. Which doesn't really concisely make a valid point. But goes from one misrepresented statistic to another. And from one silly question to another.
