If your kids get nightmares from this, congratulations the movie did what older movies did, I had nightmares from children shows before but I still loved it, I know why kids couldn't understand some themes but if the parents actually had a brain cell and watched the trailer like every responsible parent should your kids would be fine, parents it is your fault, not the movie.
