Great acting from Glen Close and Amy Adams. Ron Howard depicted the "Redneck/Hillbilly" lifestyle well. However, the story/script screams "Movie of the Week" or Lifetime movie. Typical political "pulled myself up by my bootstraps" drivel.

Accidentally turned this on and shock watched long enough to be absolutely disgusted at what now passes for "news." It's nothing but poorly produced, overly sensationalized tabloid television at it's worst! Recommend everyone who uses this as a news source try PBS, NPR, BBC, or AP.
