Now this one is a nice little surprise!!!! With about a gazillion killer shark flicks made in the wake of JAWS, only a handful rise above the surface ( pun intended ). Those include JAWS 2, Deep Blue Sea, The Reef, The Shallows, 47 Meters Down, Open Water, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged and The Meg. Tubi Original's new SHARK BAIT perhaps has the chops to become a minor shark classic. It's not terribly original nor filmed with a huge budget, however it certainly makes up for its' shortcomings with lush cinematography, pretty darn good....not great....acting, serious suspense, some truly gruesome kills, and one VERY hungry and realistic looking Great White!!!! Go into this tight little shocker with low expectations and you might be pleasantly riveted for 90 minutes.....kudos to tubi

Martyrs is one of those rare.....very rare.....horror films that transcends definitions. This 2008 French- Canadian production will linger with the viewer....for better or worse.....for quite some time. To say it is brutal beyond imagination is putting it mildly. Yet, this is a unique animal in that there is a " point " to its tale of torture. That " point " will be the topic and savage debate for many people for years to come. Exquisitely filmed and incredibly acted, this is a story about two young women who are each other's lifelines because of their horrific pasts. And about the horrors they have yet to experience. Not all is what it seems in Martyrs. And, I for one, was literally holding my breath for almost the entire run time up until the breath-taking " reveal ". It is perhaps an instant horror classic but most definitely not for the easily shocked. For those brave enough, they will simply be astonished.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!! BOAR delivers on all levels for horror genre fans. The cinematography, acting, story and tons of realistic blood and gore elevate this " monster " on the loose saga from what could have been a cheesy B movie into a possible cult classic. The reviewers on here are obviously WOKE libs who are actually worried about animals being portrayed in a bad light. Give me a break. BOAR is exactly what it sets out to be....a fun and creepy creature feature. And, the animatronic beast is terrific!!!!!!!!
