I tried to like this movie as it did have its moments but eventually decided there were so many holes in the plot to ignore (even if some of them opened the door to some of the more entertaining parts of the movie). At 2 hours 19 minutes it is way longer than necessary. I'd say at least 30 minutes of the sillier scenes shouldn't have made their way in to the final edit. It was not a waste of 139 minutes of my life, more like a waste of 45 minutes and I'd not need to look too far to find something better to do for the other 95 minutes taken up by watching this overhyped tosh

A disappointing version of a Shakespeare classic which was so wide of the mark I wish we'd left at the interval rather than persevering. So many flaws in the way the play was interpreted and performed that it would take more energy than tonight's performance has drained to list and comment. If you haven't been and you can get a refund or credit go for it
