I can normally take or leave Tom Cruise however he has impressed me with his latest instalment of Top Gun Maverick. The movie has a strong story with great action aircraft scenes which does fortunes the brave (ie good guys). What I was most impressed about was Tom with is maturity, considered and reflective nature as an actor. He no longer relies on his smile and grin of his Risky Business days. Keep an eye out for the connection to the original TG flyover of the Admirals daughter. If your a Jennifer Connell fan (Labyrinth) then you will enjoy this film as much as I did. Well done Tom, you impressed me, worth seeing a second time.
