Loved all three seasons . I did notice some storylines from Season 1 were taken almost verbatim from a 1975 film called 'Hustling' starring Jill Clayburgh and Lee Merrick. Don't recall seeing any credits anywhere Very realistic in its depiction of the late 70s and 1980s New York . Along with Mad Men , one of only a few shows that doesn't patronize or go overboard with the cliche image of the time period they are trying to represent.( In my Opinion, anyway) I lost count how many series representing the 60s and 70s I lost interest in after only a couple of eprisodes recently because they seemed like they were written by someone born in the mid 1990s.
