Gets under your skin! It's a slow burn but you are left feeling very invested in this bizarre town. There is a killer on the loose, for sure.

So funny. The comic timing and chemistry of the two leads is excellent, and the supporting cast is strong enough to carry on without them so the whole show feels very rich in material. And the best bit – it's very Australian. Only watched up to ep 3 and I'm already sad it's going to have to end.

One of my favourites, because Heath Ledger completely owns it, and it's SO Australian. The mix of casual violence, misguided optimism and star-crossed love set in the sweaty suburbs of Sydney make for an endearing, melancholy and very funny tale of criminals and payback that just gets better with age. Highly recommended.
