[spoilers] I absolutely binged this show because of how much I enjoy baking shows, but the ending is just too biased. The judge could’ve drove the car all the way up, but he just stopped the control and let the car fall back down. Biased much? Cindy and Taylor definitely would’ve won if it weren’t for the biased judging. Sara and Rodolfo’s work was nice, but when the car was driven up, it stopped so many times yet the judge never let go of the controls like he did with Cindy and Taylor’s. Plus, Sara and Rodolfo failed many of the past challenges, so how does that crown them as the “best bakineers in the world”? It’s clearly Cindy and Taylor because they succeeded all but 1 of the missions yet they got beaten just because a duo that lost the majority of the past missions were clearly a favorite to the judges “did better”. I hope season 2 will be better and fix this biased problem.
Another thing I’d like to address is the fact that the contestants did not change their clothes at all. Why did the show let the judges change but not the contestants? Just disgusting, honestly.
Also, in the finale, they were told to build a bridge, not a road. The judges were so focused on the road instead. Bruh, just drive up the road, it’s not that hard. The judge just clearly likes Sara and Rodolfo better. If you continued to drive the car up the road it would work out. I mean, they should’ve just let the engineer drive the car instead.
The last thing that’s positive about this show and why I didn’t rate it a 1 star was that even though I find engineering super boring, this was so fun to watch baking and engineering join together. I also got so attached to some of the contestants to the point I searched up their Instagrams. The show showed a lot about their backstories so it helped me feel more comfortable watching random people I knew about just yesterday.
Conclusion: Taylor and Cindy got robbed. The judges are biased.
