I watched the film of 2011 which was beautiful. With great anticipation started the new series. I didn’t get past the first few eps. It was horribly miscast. I’m sorry but she just wasn’t pretty enough or charming. The pairing was totally unrealistic. What annoyed me more was the forced diversity. For pc reasons we have to have him with a non posh accent, her with a northern accent and a mixed race relationship. It’s pushed on us everywhere on film and tv.

An excellent book of legal procedure getting innocent people off death row. Don’t understand the complaints that the outcome was predictable. It’s based on true events. Also don’t understand petty complaints that the ending doesn’t match the actual outcome! It’s a novel BASED on true events. Two things I picked up on. Hair samples. Wouldn’t racial differences be obvious? The intact skeleton. How can a hanging skeleton be intact with no muscles and ligaments to hold it together? Otherwise a satisfying read.
