It is the plain wheat toast of videogames: bland, uninspired, and waiting for the modding community to make it into a sandwich.
It took me awhile to realize what it was about the game that made me dislike it, but then I realized that it just feels to me more like a playable tech demo or proof of concept piece than an actual complete videogame.
