This was SO DISAPPOINTING considering the good reviews it had gotten, I was so excited to see this especially as a south asian so seeing "myself" on screen + problems south asian women have to go through I was pretty excited about this but it was soo bad. Especially as a muslim, the muslim rep? Drinking alcohol? Dating? and so many other things especially considering the fact it has a pakistani actor in it who is a muslim as well (don't know about the others.) When will Hollywood represent Muslims properly in media? Like if they were going to represent it like this then just don't make them muslim??? or actually do your damn research on the religion. Not to mention, the overacting was quite cringey too, it had lots of plot holes. This could have had sm more potential too.
