I finally saw the epic movie 'JAGUN JAGUN' last night with plenty of excitements. First, the movie is one of the best cinematographic movie in Nigerian over the years. The picture quality and effects are so beautiful and realistic. Great work by the entire crew. Secondly, the storyline is straight forward and non confusing. Unlike many other movies in nollywood that loses it storyline at the centre of the movie. More so, forgive me to say this, the movie is over rated. Yes, over-rated. The suspense in the movie JAGUN JAGUN are actually light. Nothing so spectacular about the unveiling of Kitan as Agemo. It is something presumable. Lastly, aside the ROLE of JIGAN played by Adekola Odunlade, GBOGUNMI played by Yekinni Ibrahim, Ogundiji played by Femi Adebayo himself, and the late introduction of Ibrahim Chatta and this lady whose husband was burnt to death. Many of the other characters were just below par. For me, i would rate JAGUN JAGUN a 6/10.

Ijakumo, speaks volume about the desperation of many youths in the society and also the sacrifices women offer to better the lives of their partners without thinking twice about being betrayed. The movie Ijakumo, a vengeance styled movie, is a good movie regardless. All the characters in the movie did played their part diligently. From Remi's 100% adulation of yoruba and vulgar words to his driver's character at the tail end of the movie, it was all pure class and professional. However, some things just didn't add up in the movie. Ashabi sudden metaphysical powers, the unnecessary commando fights, the longness of Ashabi hair didnt metamorphosed into anything in the movie. Regardless, good thematic structure(love, betrayal, vengeance, crime, deceit, and loyalty) characterisation, settings and dialogues. The producer should do better next time to better her closure of movies.
