I know that some people were disappointed because the movie focused more on LB's private life. But that was exactly the intention. It was not too much about his work as a composer but about the private life of the composer. I think Bradley Cooper's performance was superb, as well as Carey Mulligan 's. The make up was great. Especially Lenny in his older years. Cooper as well as Mulligan, deserve a nomination for best actors.
