I really think a full season drop Netflix style would've better suited this show.
The episodes are too short and the story is too sporadic to make weekly episode drops satisfying. It worked well for the Madalorian, but that show had very long episodes that could stand on their own. WandaVision has barely 20 minutes of content per episode and rarely tells a story that will interest casual MCU fans.
At the end of each episode I find myself more disappointed that there isn't more substance, rather than anticipation for what is coming next.
The show itself is pretty good, but again, it's dramatically hampered by it's release schedule. The build up that would normally draw in viewers is so spread out that if you already didn't love the source material, you will not enjoy this because the pay off is months away.
I will probably just be subscribing to Disney+ for a month or two after they've released full seasons of their shows in the future. I personally don't think prolonging the release of anything, at the detriment of enjoyment, purely for hashtags and publicity is a good move. As it stands, the initial hype I had for Wandavision has passed and transitioned to barely an interest.
