No no no no no. I just finished reading the great work by Victor Hugo and thought I'd enjoy this miniseries. Nope! The story is great the way it was written, why change it?! Do they really think they can improve it?! So many things were irritatingly off, I couldn't even finish it. They totally left out Fauchelevent who Valjean saved from being crushed by the cart! So instead of Fauchelevent returning the favor it's sister simplice in the convent?! What?! Hugo went on for 3 hours about this convent and how they lived and sister simplice was not one of those nuns. And so many other things...I can't even

I watched it 2 nights in a row and then again a few days later. I loved the beautiful Ireland scenery, the back and forth between the characters, the quirkiness and the happy ending. I'll watch it again and again.
