It's a decent enough film and the cast actually do a good job. I honestly think this film would have been better without the shark element! If it had been a story about a group of women trying to survive their boat sinking and the struggles that come with it, it may have actually been a great movie. The sharks just cheapened the whole story, and it's a shame, because I think they had something with this.

This to me is another example of a horror film with all the potential, that failed miserably when executed. As per usual, Stephen King's stories are brilliant, scary and horrifying, yet difficult to translate to the big screen. Like IT 2, sometimes less is more. Less over the top CGI horror and more leaving the boogeyman a mystery. I would recommend watching for the great acting, not so much for anything else.

I was first introduced to Star Trek by my Nan, and the pair of us would sit watching re-runs of the classic episodes for hours on end. What was engaging TV then, has turned into thrilling movie watching now. This film stands the test of time, even ten years after it's release. The casting is brilliant, scripting superb and even with a new spin, remains wholly authentic. All three of these films are brilliant, the first and second being the best out of the bunch for sure. What is really brilliant is that you can go into watching this movie blind, with no background knowledge of Star Trek, and still enjoy it thoroughly. If you haven't seen these films already, what are you waiting for?

What can I say? Cliches, moody teenagers, rather basic plots. It's a film trying to mimic Love Actually with a younger cast that just doesn't work. The film would have been far better forcusing all it's attention on the best storyline and romance blossoming between Stuart (the famous pop star in hiding) and Julie (girl faced with a rather difficult dilemma). Thier chemistry is by far the best in the film, and their dynamic even more so. The pair carry the entire film with excellent dialogue and a few scenes that are authentically touching. If you want some Christmas cheer, and a plot made to look pretty with a blanket of snow, then this is the film for you. I wouldn't however, watch with any high expectations.

If you like overly clichéd story lines and handsome love interests with dodgy dialogue and terrible acting, go for it. There are some pleasant moments and funny scenes, however this is all overshadowed by a film made in 2020 that basically tells women everywhere that the only way to be happy is to find a relationship and get married. Because that's all we can aspire to in life. It will keep you entertained for an hour and a half but you will soon move on and forget about it.

I've literally never been so bored watching a Zombie film. If you get it, great, but I just don't. It is slow with some terrible acting considering the great cast. Some scenes are pretty gruesome, but the cast has such low energy it just makes it incredibly boring. The female police officer is infuriantly whiny and Adam Driver is so ridiculously non-plussed through the whole thing he may as well be a robot. The mismatched humour just doesn't work. Where Zombieland was always outright centered on not being too serious, this film can't make its mind up on whether you should take it as a joke or not. My advice: There are a plethora of great zombie movies out there, watch one of those instead.

There are good gator films out there. Rogue, being one of the best. This will keep you entertained but it feels like a 12 year old wrote the script and came up with concept. But movies be movies, so the idea of giant alligators attacking anyone in sight, despite the fact that they are most likely full from the last person they ate, is just part of the fantasy. Wouldn't watch it again but it's not the worst I've ever watched.

*Spoilers* If you haven't read the books, this series is brilliant. Well casted, well scripted and highlights many social issues. However. As a lover of Malorie Blackmans novels for over 15 years, the lack of dedication to the books narrative threw me. The ending seemed wishful. It was what we all wanted when reading the books, when in reality Callum's death is heart wrenching and made me sob more than I've ever done so whilst reading a book. The series painted a pretty picture but failed to deliver the true nature of the story.

*Spoiler* Safe Haven battles with dark themes, such as domestic abuse and death, whilst also managing to be a fun, light hearted romance about two people trying to heal from very traumatic experiences. Our main character and her plights keep you guessing the entire way through, drawing to a very dramatic but also cleansing climax. I enjoyed the entire film, and even shed a few tears at the end. It is well worth the watch!

It's a modern day take on Cruel Intentions. Dangerous Liaisons mixes cruel socialites and a goody-two-shoes protagonist, adds in a 'bad boy', and sprinkles on a few character twists, too. I love the French language, so listening to the characters speak is a pleasure. The lead, Celene, is a refreshingly strong female character (despite her cliche's), who makes her own decisions. Her cousin is genuinely funny, and the cast themselves do a great job portraying their roles. The film itself is very beautiful. Shot in a gorgeous location, with nicely edited camera work. It's defintely a comment on society, and it's obsession over social media, how many followers you have, who is trending. Highlighting a new and very modern pressure on young people. I would recommend watching, it's enjoyable and romantic.
