Really dissappointing prequel. It had the cast, the plot, the cinematography but somehow utterly failed. Plot opportunities for real emotion we lost to tired gimmiky action scenes. The killing of Rasputin a real and gruesome event, was reduced to high farce. The entire "island in the sky" plot device was utterly stupid, leaving all manner of holes.
