The real surprise at Oxford is the worst actress in America playing the lead role with a handful of great British actors. Did they hire the Hallmark Channel’s writers. The magnificent shots of Oxford University hopefully will keep some of the audience from falling asleep. If the viewer has an interest in English Romantic Literature one can listen to interesting arguments about Milton and Pope as the terrible leading actress attends her classes. My suggestion is to save your sixteen dollars and get a great film like Cinema Paradiso and some popcorn. You’ll have a lot more bang for your buck.
