I have lot of questions in this movie? On what basis he called as Maamanithan? and what message / story he try to convey to audience? Just ignore the reason why VS leaves to kerala for 8 years. at the end he is earning money from kerala for his family. This is happening in many families, husbands / wife / son / daughters are in this situation to live alone for their family, those are all not consider as maamanithan then? and its not mean those who living with family are not mean as maamanithan? i hate this comparion's between manithan & maamanithan. Everyone life is different and upto their level they are all giving 100% to their life so everyone is maamithan. Rather than VS, his wife character and the kids has faced the problems face to face. When you compare the level of difficulty who faced these 8 years that definitely goes to the wife and children's. even though he sent the money monthly she raise up her daughter and son individually. is that equal to what vs did? I am not supportive to feminist but this movie director projected that VS is great, the last shot of the movie when the wife and husband meet, he made the wife to touch her husband feet as she is not aware of he send the money monthly. Really? dude if taking care of children's when husband is not there its wife responsibility means then working for family is husband responsibility? how come here husband becomes one step ahead then wife in this movie? She puts lot of effort then VS. This movie is only to praise the VS i think director love him so much, other than that the story is not even complete. Because of the story i wanna rate 0/5
