Actual score 2.5. Entertaining if you can suspend intelligence and go with the action. Premise is thought-worthy given rapidly increasing instances of extreme weather events. Biggest negative-- watching excellent actors (Ed Harris, Gerard Butler, et al) deliver poor performances. Challenging to be believable with zero character development and poor dialog. But on a damp rainy Sunday following a hectic week Geostorm provided a welcome distraction from "reality."

Mainly boring but not because of lack action so much as weak script. Sarah Wayne-Callies plays same character as Lori in TWD and she is equally obnoxious in Colony.

Excellent international political thriller set in Alice Springs AU. Great acting, sharp, engaging plot. The neg is the cliffhanger ending if no 2nd season.

C+ - B- Booorrring. Wooden characters, dull dialogue. Actually a great plot but actors given nothing to work with in terms of dialogue or character development. Definitely creepy serial killer but fell flat with cliched relationships. Forgettable. Did not watch seasons 2 or 3 and don't plan to.

I like Dan Brown ... however ... one of the most boring, tedious audiobooks I've ever listened to. Were I not stuck in the car on a 12 hour drive I'd have given up by chapter 10. By the time a bit of action enters toward final quarter of story I found myself so irritated by the pedantic and sophomoric premise, I gave up and switched to NPR. Thin plot, no character development; endless and interminable descriptions of places replace plot, dialogue, narrative. Total waste of money.

Strong acting though a bit confusing in beginning as script introduced many characters and their titles, characters that were never seen again and whose presence did not further plot. Touching moments toward end of film help to remind of horror and ultimate uselessness of hatred. Realistic in portrayal of jihad mentality and jihadist brain washing of young muslims. Great musical score.
